[ ]ANNOUNCEMENTS
this is where the staff will post various announcements. check back here often. things like activities check, OTM nominations, and other kabobs will show up here.

00
[ ]SUGGESTION AREA
we here at FS know that we're not perfect. of course we probably didn't include some essential things. or maybe you just know of something that would improve the site. well let us know. we're all about suggestions. anything that helps the site is welcome. just post your suggestions here, and we admins will take them all in consideration. never be too shy about a suggestion. we welcome them. :]

00
[ ]STAFF ROOM
unfortunately, this is just an area for the admins. we need a place to sit around and talk about our awesomeness while sippin' on our juice boxes. it's pretty legit in here. but admin only. two times the apologies. except ntrly. :]

[ ]THE CREATION CENTER (3 sub-boards)

[ ]PLOTTING (1 sub-board)
this are is for those nifty little quicky plotting pages. not the one that has a hundred options for you to pick out specific friendship or enemy details. this is where you go and be all like, 'ohai. let's be friends. -plot,plot,plot-' just like that.

[ ]SHIPPERS
now these are those ones that have a billion and one options. and you pick so many and post them all and tell how your character is in relations with another character. they usually look snazzy and blind you and such. anyway, this is their little area.

00
[ ]CELL PHONES
everyone has one, don't even deny it. it's that essential thing that no one can leave the house without these things. they're permanently attached to the hands of everyone, whether it's for texting or a phone call.

00
[ ]INSTANT MESSAGING
technology is becoming huge. getting on the computer, you have things like IMing. or twittering. or facebooking. but IMing is the biggest thing. this is the area where you can have your little convos with all your friends without the trouble of picking up your phone to text them. convenient, right?

00
[ ]JOURNALS
maybe you call it a journal. maybe you call it a diary. to you, it might be some kind of notepad that you write your secrets in and stash away somewhere. or perhaps you call it a blog. and you post it online for others or maybe just yourself to see. but remember, it's the internet. hackers are out there. either way, this is where you pour out your heart's desire.

00
[image]
[ ]THE 'L' LINE
the 'l' line is the equivalence to the underground systems of new york city. this is chicago's massive transportation system. hope on one of these trains to get around the big city. and the blue and orange lines will take you off to the airports as well, just an fyi.

[ ]WHITNEY YOUNG HIGH SCHOOL (5 sub-boards)
this is the high school. it's your average grades seven through twelve school. don't think you can slack off in this high school though. admission is based on good academic standings. so be careful. at least you're basically guaranteed to go to college once you graduate from here though. so the years can't be all that horrible. you'll survive.

00
[ ]UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS - CHICAGO (6 sub-boards)
here you have the largest college campus in chicago. this is a pretty prestigious college in the nation as well. these are your years for massive partying -- wait, no. wasn't it something like learning some more? something like that. you get the picture. hey, put that kegger cup down and go to class.

00
[ ]COCO PAZZO
having been opened for over ten years now, coco pazzo is the heartland for italian-tuscan cuisine. you'll find a lot of people frequenting the restaurant. and if you see the classic group of older gentlemen in trench coats, i'd watch yourself. you've watched the godfather. mafia men love italian food.

00
[ ]THE JAVA BEAN (1 sub-board)
one of the new chain coffee shops that is just all the rage. owned by the mancini family, this business has been around for quite about a decade now. even though most people know it's mafia-related, they do their best to ignore it. why? the coffee is fantastic. you can't get something as good as this at starbucks.

00
[ ]THE MEAT MARKET (1 sub-board)
meat butchering has been around for ages. the caparellis have turned it into an empire. this is the local shop among many in the country. everyone comes here because it's always the best meat in town for the best price, despite the awareness of everyone that the owners are mafia men.

00
[ ]THE MAGNIFICENT MILE (5 sub-boards)
you want to spend some time on yourself and buy you a nice gift? perhaps someone's birthday or a holiday is coming up? take a stroll down the magnificent mile. known for all the upscale stores and well-know boutiques, you can find just about anything here on this stretch of michigan avenue.

00
[ ]MILLENIUM PARK (3 sub-boards)
this is the well-known park located near the lake michigan lakefront. the park boasts attractions like the cloud gate (better known as 'the bean'), crown fountain, and the jay pritzker pavillion. come here all year round with firends, family, or just yourself. either way, it's a good way to get out.

[ ]THE CHICAGO THEATRE
built in 1921, this used to be the movie theatre venue for decades. now, it is the site for things like concerts, plays, magic shows, and comedy acts.

00
[ ]THE NAVY PIER (4 sub-boards)
right on the coast of lake michigan is the over three thousand foot long pier. housing a ferris wheel, an IMAX theatre, and festivals year round, it's a great place for a family day. or a friend day. or a date.

00
[ ]THE DOCKS (2 sub-boards)
these here are the docks. being near lake michigan, of course some shipping is going to be done. here on the docks, several warehouses are owned by the mancini family and by the caparelli family. this is where the base of their operations are. who knows what they all are really bringing in.

[ ]MERCY CHICAGO HOSPITAL
got yourself a boo boo? gun shot wound? broken leg? you expecting sometime soon? this is your one-stop shop for getting all fixed up and taken care of. health is a big concern around here, especially with all this violence going on. it's never a bad time for a check-up either.

00
[ ]CHICAGO PD & JAIL
it's just as it says. the nig house of the windy city, ladies and gentleman. this is where those fine men in blue get their jobs done. and get caught by them and you'll also end up in here. and you really don't want to be here. in all reality you're in more danger in here than you are out on the streets. just be careful, you might end up with a butt-buddy named bubba.

[ ]LINCOLN PARK APARTMENTS
found in lincoln park, these are the more high-scale apartment buildings. for those of the more 'well-off' status. each apartment boasts two bedrooms, one bathroom, a luxurious view, a community pool, and even a courtyard out back.

00
[ ]JULIAN VALDEZ'S FLAT
one of the largest duplex buildings in chicago. four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, finished basement and positively drenched in luxury. what only makes it better, is that the neighboring flat remains vacant.

This is also the main location for his drug trafficking business. "Goods" are constantly coming and going, right under the noses of the Chicago police.

00
[ ]BRIDGEPORT APARTMENTS (1 sub-board)
you from the working class? can't afford something luxurious? then you might just find residence here. while these aren't broken down 'omg it's a cockroach the size of my head' kind of apartments, they aren't the kind of apartments where you might not ever find a cockroach. to make you feel safer though, the security is a buzzer system. neat.

00
[ ]THE MANCINI MANSION (1 sub-board)
located in the luxurious gold coast district, just on lake shore blvd, you will find the place where all of the mancini family call home. built right on the lake, it is a sprawling two-level ten bedroom/six bathroom home complete with indoor and outdoor pools, a extensive library, and seven-car garage.

00
[ ]THE CAPARELLI MANSION
located in the most pretigous side of lincoln park, nestled in a couple acres of foliage, you will the caparelli residence. three floors, fifteen bedrooms, and twelve bathrooms later. it holds residence to all of the caparelli family and their guests. other bonuses of the house include indoor/outdoor pools, a stable, and a game room that i hear puts a chuck e. cheese to shame.

00
[image]
[ ]NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK
need a change of scenery? want some more loudness but less wind? new york city is your place. see a broadway play, do some shopping, maybe take care of some 'business'. whatever it is, it can be done here.

00
[ ]LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
the biggest city on the west coast. need a break from the snow? go on over to california. get some business taken care of, see an agent or two. all that schnazz.

00
[ ]MIAMI, FLORIDA
heat, heat, heat. oh yeah, and those parties too. girls in bikinis, men in those sexy speedos. but that's not just what miami is for. this place is known for the parties, but for the business too. and if it fits your pleasure, drugs. miami is just one big party though, no matter what it comes down to.

[ ]THE PLUG BOARD (5 sub-boards)

[ ]FUN & GAMES (1 sub-board)
okay, so we all know that we can get bored from time to time. hit the games area up. we all know we're guilty of being sucked into playing all these numerous games. it's okay. we all do it too. don't feel too bad.

00
[ ]INTROS & OUTROS (2 sub-boards)
this is where you can come and introduce yourself. we're all cool around here. we like to make friends. it's how tia and stephanie became wifeys. :] but also, you can post here if you're going on vacation and are going to be gone. if you're going to be gone longer than a week, post here and let us know. it's common courtesy.

00
[ ]THE ARCHIVE (3 sub-boards)
this is where we will store all those old threads or applications. anything that is no longer being used or is pertaining to a character who has gone silent will just go here instead of deleting it. it's just nicer this way.
